| Hydraulic Oil Cooler |
An hydraulic oil cooler is a device designed to prevent oil used in hydraulic systems from overheating. This is a critical function in hydraulic systems, as overheating of the oil can lead to a drop in system efficiency and excessive wear of the system components in general due to reduced oil viscosity.
In most cases, the coolers allow the oil to shed accumulated thermal energy into a secondary medium, typically water or air, by passing the hot oil through a series of thin tubes exposed to a constant flow of low temperature cooling medium.
The cooling medium absorbs heat from the oil and carries it away from the cooler, where it is typically shed into the atmosphere. Common hydraulic oil cooler designs include radiator, shell and tube, Wire finned and frame types.

| Transmission Oil Cooler |
The gear shafts are linked via a transfer gear, resulting in a shorter overall transmission length. The transmission electronic control unit (ECU), sensors and solenoids are all housed within the transmission valve body. The Twin Clutch shift transmission is equipped with a transmission oil cooler, and uses a synthetic fluid designed for twin clutch transmissions. |

| Brake Oil Cooler |
The fluid released from the valve is passed back to the inlet side of the pump instead of discharging into the reservoir. This save energy that would be used if the fluid had to be drawn through the fine mesh filter screen. Line pressure is too great for the converter, so the secondary regulator acts as a pressure reducer. A portion of the fluid returning from the converter passes to an Brake oil cooler that provides low pressure lubrication of the gear box. |
